Porth Beach and Lusty Glaze are just a short walk from the Guest House. The Mermaid Inn has good pub food and is situated on the beach at Porth. Porth Island is close by, accessed by a footbridge offers stunning views of the coastline up to Trevose Headland.

Newquay has excellent shops, restaurants to suit every taste and pocket, pubs, night clubs, a zoo, water world, boating lake, tennis fishing, golf.   Whatever your interests there is something for everyone.   Just ask your hosts, they will be only too happy to help.  

Touring: Cornwall is an extremely picturesque county but quite small, virtually anywhere can be reached from Newquay within an hour.
